How we write and edit.

You have bought the book that promised a quieter mind before. You read three chapters on a good week, underlined a few lines, and by page forty it was over. That book did not lie to you exactly. It just never told you what it was doing, or who was behind it.

So here is how these pages get made, and what you can hold us to.

One page, one idea

Every page carries a single idea, an honest reason why it works, and one small thing you can do today. If a page cannot fit those three, it is not finished, and it does not go out. No page exists to fill a slot.

Plain English, translated in the same line

If a word is difficult, it gets translated where it stands. You will not be sent to a glossary, and you will not be asked to learn a vocabulary before you are allowed to use the practice. Plain, never shallow. A hard idea can be said in everyday words by someone who actually understands it.

Honest boundaries, out in the open

You will not become calm forever. Nobody is, and the people selling that are selling. Our books are practice material, not therapy and not a substitute for real help. On the days you need more than a page, a page is not what to reach for. We keep that here, in normal type, because it is one of the truest things we have to say.

A person stands behind every page

Someone here is responsible for the facts on a page and answers for them. Nobody is paid by the word. We are not a content farm, and we do not publish to keep a schedule fed. Fewer pages that hold up beats more pages that do not.

Corrections

Found something wrong? Write to [email protected]. We check it, fix it, and the page carries the correction. That includes small things: a number, a name, a sentence that says the opposite of what it means.
